Subject: Notice: Updated Unified Korea Post EMS Rates (Effective July 1, 2026)

Dear Partner,

Please note that Korea Post has updated its EMS rate system effective July 1, 2026.

Key Update:The previous "Base Rate" and "Transport Surcharge" have been merged into a single, unified rate.

Old: Base Rate + Surcharge = Total
New: Unified Official Rate = Total

Due to this change, final shipping fees have been adjusted depending on the destination and weight.

All our future shipping quotes will automatically apply this new system.

If you need a shipping estimate for your upcoming order, please share your destination country and estimated weight.

EMS Premium is a service operated by Korea Post in cooperation with global courier partners.
Korea Post collects the shipment locally, and the parcel is then handed over to an international courier (such as FedEx) for final delivery.

• From March 30, 2026 → changed to FedEx for final delivery

Shipping Notice (Updated Logistics & Customs Environment)

Since late 2025, international shipping conditions have changed significantly, influenced by new U.S. customs and tariff-related policies.

As a result, we have adjusted our shipping method to ensure more stable and cost-effective delivery.

We now avoid regular EMS whenever possible and primarily use EMS Premium service.

About EMS Premium:

EMS Premium is a service operated by Korea Post in cooperation with global courier partners.
Korea Post collects the shipment locally, and the parcel is then handed over to an international courier (such as FedEx) for final delivery.

Important Update on Shipping to the United States:

For shipments to the United States, customs procedures have changed.

In the past, duties and import procedures were handled after arrival in the U.S.
However, under current conditions, these processes for EMS parcels may be pre-processed or assessed during export handling.

Previously, shipments under US$800 were generally duty-free for U.S. customers.
However, this is no longer consistently the case.

As a result, the following issues may arise for us as exporters when using regular EMS:

• unexpected duties or taxes
• customs clearance delays
• additional verification procedures

Note on EMS Premium (Courier Shipments):

Unlike regular EMS, EMS Premium shipments (handled by DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.) are generally processed under the conventional customs procedure, similar to the previous system.

However, regarding U.S. imports,
shipments under US$800, which were previously duty-free in many cases,
may now be subject to duties or taxes under the updated U.S. tariff policies (since late 2025).

We understand and have been informed that, in some cases, duties are being charged at relatively higher rates than before.

Why We Use EMS Premium:

EMS Premium provides a more stable and predictable delivery process under current conditions.

Cost Advantages:

• Significantly lower cost than DHL, UPS, and standard FedEx
• Often even cheaper than regular FedEx

Volumetric Weight Advantage:

• DHL / FedEx / UPS: (L × W × H) ÷ 5000
• EMS Premium: (L × W × H) ÷ 6000

👉 This results in a lower chargeable weight, especially for bulky but lightweight shipments.

Additional Cost Advantage (U.S. shipments):

For shipments to the United States,
EMS Premium is often more economical than regular EMS when the parcel weight exceeds approximately 10 kg.
